Thin EMI suppression cores for flat cables

Murata offers a series of ferrite cores for flat ribbon cable. Ribbon cable with a thickness of less than 4 mm can pass through these cores. This series is getting thinner, smaller and more lightweight. An ultra-thin type has joined the line-up which has a thickness less than 2 mm. For all types, anti-scatter coated cores are available that are hard to break.

Typical applications are for computers, and peripheral equipment (printer, FDD, HDD, displays, etc); digital equipment; switching power supply.
