Tyco Electronics' upgraded range of RF series power relays now meets VDE approval at 120°C. The devices are rated at 16 A with 250 V a.c. loads and feature a maximum switching capacity of 4000 VA.

Target applications are domestic appliances such as oven controls, microwaves and heating, as well as power supplies. Faston terminals, included for the load side, are available as either vertical or horizontal fixing. The devices are available with single pole normally-open or normally-closed contacts.

The RF series Faston 16 A power relays feature a coil power of 400 mW and reinforced insulation. Operating temperature range is -40 to +120°C, mechanical life is 30 million cycles, and operate/release time is 10 ms.
