A new command panel from Rittal facilitates ease-of-use by featuring a universal mounting system. More and more electronic control functions are moving into the front line, to be monitored and controlled by operators at decentralised terminals. With its new 'Comfort Panel' Rittal helps ensure optimised installation and service for command panels.
This panel is innovative with its universal and highly flexible mounting system. The user can choose from three options. The panel can be fastened with: threaded bolts, drills or screw clamp technology. This greatly simplifies not only assembly, but also later servicing. Another benefit is easy access to system components such as disk drives when entering or modifying programs.
A mounting channel around the command panel enables a keyboard or accessories such as mouse pad supports, handles or clipboards to be quickly installed. One eye-catching feature is the design of the front frame with its darker plastic edging. All-round plastic edging also protects against operator injury.
All command panels can be tailored precisely to individual customer requirements. TFT and CRT monitor screens, machine control panels, LED displays, switches, keys, signal lamps, E-Stop buttons and keyboards can be used in varied combinations.
