Mobile control enclosure with provision for batteries

Accompanying the extremely fast development of electronic data transfer using wireless methods, industry has developed a series of matching handheld enclosures. Most of them are made of plastic and only have a low level of protection. Rolec, however, develops and supplies watertight enclosures that have a high system of protection, mainly made of aluminium.
A new series of enclosure was created, the mobilCASE, made of aluminium profiles combined with or closed off by diecast parts. Due to the profile construction method, the length of the enclosures is variable. The availability of three widths, 80, 100 and 130 mm, combined with variable lengths, practically covers all size requirements.
Designed especially for mobile applications, they have a separate guide channel for battery holders. The battery channel is ergonomically-shaped as a handle, assuring fatigue-proof handling. Basic protection is IP 65. For mobile use in the field, robust rubber caps covering the ends and effectively protecting it, as well as shoulder straps, are available.
When used as desktop units, two enclosures, which may also be different widths, can be combined by means of an adapter. Development and installation of keypads or short-stroke buttons, is possible.
