Using standard enclosure sections that can be linked together as well as special mounting options, Rittal offers a complete customised solution for the human machine interface (HMI) for many industries, and in particular, for the machine building and process sectors.
As most equipment requiring an HMI interface will differ in application, the size, mounting and shape must all be adaptable. Rittal has developed special mounting solutions in conjunction with several HMI display manufacturers, which ensures the enclosure can be designed to suit the display unit.
Further customisation is available with trims in various colours, rubberised edging in two colours, areas for name plates or company logos, plus handles available in different shapes, all helping to create a completely customised enclosure system exactly to the customer's specification.
Other accessories include specific shelves or arms to support keyboards, interface flaps to allow access to CD drives, serial, parallel, network or USB connections, beacons in all colours with filament and voltage options, as well as several arm systems to mount the enclosure to the equipment.
Rittal's arm systems offer a choice of materials as well as colour to suit the application, from medium-weight HMI enclosure support in steel or stainless steel, to heavyweight supports with large extruded aluminium or extruded steel profiles.
