Citel's BPI unit is designed to protect terminals linked by one pair to telephone or data networks. The unit has a removable protection circuit (PIN S180...) which simplifies maintenance.

The B280, B380 and B480 units from Citel are designed to protect telephone lines and terminals connected to telephone and data networks by two-pair, three-pair and four-pair lines respectively. Their circuits include primary and secondary protectors (replacement circuit PINs S280..., S380..., S480...).

Special versions of these boxes are also available for the combined protection of transmission and remote power lines (eg B480 24D3/A12:3 24 V pairs plus one 12 V power supply).

Key features are:
