New automatic inline stencil printer launched at Productronica

Speedprint Technology had its world launch of the latest addition to the company's acclaimed 'avi' series of stencil printers at the recently-held Productronica 2005 in Germany

Designated 'SPRINTavi', the company says that this new SMT printer delivers a high specification combined with exceptional value.

The 'SPRINTavi' accepts the industry standard 29" (737 mm) stencil frame. It uses Speedprint's innovative 'look down, look down' vision alignment technology that facilitates 'paste on stencil' inspection; a valuable advantage which is unique to the avi series of printers.

The SPRINTavi is available with a wide range of options, including 2D paste inspection, SPC data collection and 3 tooling options including Speedprint's unique laser tooling system and the new 'Vacunest' tooling package that was also launched at the show.

As with its other printers from the 'avi' stable, SPRINTavi was designed with flexibility, ease of changeover and long term reliability in mind.
