First independent verification closure management tool now in production release

TransEDA has announced the availability of its production release Assertain product, which it claims is the first independent Verification Closure Management (VCM) tool that delivers, in a single environment, total measurement and control of the digital design verification process.

Covering all front-end design stages from original text specification through to validated RTL, Assertain monitors, measures and manages the verification process in one integrated environment, says the company. The tool seamlessly brings together rule, protocol and assertion checking; code and assertion coverage; design and assertion coverability analysis; test grading and optimisation, linked to specification coverage using proven requirements and traceability techniques.

Assertain was extensively tested to be ready for its release and demonstration at last month's Electronic Design and Solution Fair (EDSF) in Yokohama, Japan.
