Lem has recently expanded its current and voltage transducers that are optimised for process automation.
The accompanying picture shows examples of split-core and solid core, AC and DC current transducers, for protection, monitoring and control systems. Lem offers current transducers in the range from 0,01 A up to 10 kA with all of the popular process control outputs, ie, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA. In addition to these transducers, it also offers AC and DC current-operated switches and ground fault sensors.
Typical applications include analog control and condition monitoring and in the case of the switch protection and safety devices, pump jam and suction loss protection, fan and pump monitoring, DC power supply and battery monitoring, safety lighting monitoring, ground fault protection, monitoring of industrial electrical heaters, safety interlocks, detection of conveyor belt overload or jam and underload.
Included in the range are true RMS voltage sensors for 120/250/300/400 and 500 V networks.
