In a package measuring 127 x 76 mm, and 1U high, Mean Well has managed to squeeze power supply with power factor correction (PFC) function that achieves 200 W. Thanks to the advanced technology of soft switching and synchronous rectification, all models of the open-frame PPS-200 possess high efficiency characteristics allowing it to supply 150 W by merely free air convection and 200 W by forced air.
With 160 W/cm³ of high power density, the PPS-200 series is a compact 90-260 V switcher, ideal for 1U (4,45 cm) installations.
Suitable application areas are for general electronics, factory automation, telecoms, networking, and test and measurement applications that all have space constraints.
