Hoang-PVM Engineering is a young company based in Germany, which is active in the research and development and distribution of solutions and products for SMD electronics.
The company has announced the availability of the new Mekko Technologies CR300C series computer-controlled reflow oven for lead-free soldering.
The desktop Euroflow series has already been proven in manufacturing environments, where the compact design and the reliable soldering results were significant benefits. The convection-based systems are capable of a broad range of applications, beginning with laboratory use up to mid-sized production environments. User-friendly and easy to operate, the small footprint as well as low cost of ownership are the main advantages of the reflow furnace.
The transport mechanism is based on a stainless steel mesh belt conveyor. The soldering system maintains a high maximum temperature in the peak zone (10 kW maximum heater power), making it useful for processing lead-free solder paste. At the outlet section of the oven, the freshly-soldered board assemblies are cooled down by blowers. The machine is equipped with three thermocouples to assure a secure setting of the temperature profiles of different board designs.
The Euroflow 300C has a 300 mm wide stainless steel mesh conveyor (the 250C has a 250 mm wide conveyor). This table-top machine has dimensions: 1680 x 600 x 400 mm (L x W x H). The machine ensures safe processing of all SMD devices with lead-free solder: fine pitch ICs, BGA assemblies and two-sided boards.
