Linear Technology's LTC3410 is a high efficiency, 2,25 MHz, synchronous buck regulator that can deliver up to 300 mA of continuous output current from an SC70 package. Using a constant frequency and current mode architecture, it operates from an input voltage range of 2,5 V to 5,5 V - ideal for single cell Li-Ion, or multicell alkaline/NiCd/NiMH applications. It can generate output voltages as low as 0,8 V, allowing for powering the latest low voltage DSPs and micros. With a 2,25 MHz switching frequency, tiny, low cost ceramic capacitors and inductors less than 1 mm profile can be used, providing a very compact solution footprint for handheld applications. The LTC3410 comes in 6-Lead SC70 package.
