Fischer Elektronik offers an extended range of LED holders for front panel assembly. The LED holder is inserted from the front into the front panel and is held there. The front panel should have a thickness between 1,0 and 1,5 mm. The LED is then inserted into the LED holder from the rear and engages in the end position.
These holders are suitable for 3 mm and 5 mm LEDs. The visible outer diameter of the LED holder is 5,6 mm for the 3 mm version and 7,5 mm for the 5 mm version. The overall height is 5,6 mm for the 3 mm LED and 7 mm for the 5 mm LED.
The LED holders are made from black, glass-fibre reinforced polyamide.
