PLC switch module for 'Manual-0-Automatic' functions

Phoenix Contact's new 6,2 mm PLC-S...S switch module allows 'Manual-0-Automatic' functions to be implemented in applications for set-up, tests and manual/emergency operation. In combination with a PLC connection module (relay or opto-coupler), the respective loads can be connected.
The switch module and the PLC module with an input voltage of <72 V a.c./d.c. can be connected easily via PLC plug-in bridges.
The PLC switch module sends a signal via a voltage-free control output when automatic operation is discontinued. Apart from different types of connections, such as screw or spring-cage connectors, the user can select from switch modules for screwdriver and manual operation.
