Schurter's front panel switches have extremely small mounting dimensions and can therefore be fitted in a space saving manner.
Whether single-pole, multipole, sealed, illuminated or non-illuminated, Schurter says that its extensive range of versions allow product designers to find the right type in the categories of short-stroke, medium-stroke and rocker switches for any application.
The SSM 27 for example, is a new front panel short stroke switch. The function is based on the magnetic switch principle, where the switching elements are not mechanically stressed. The result is a very high lifetime of 5 million switching cycles. The switch comes with an IP65 protection from the front and back and has a very short mounting depth.
The print-mount switches are versatile, starting with low-cost versions to individually-designed custom types. The switches are also available in various designs. They can be used under an overlay or also as a single switching element.
