Fujitsu Components Europe enhanced its high-capacity thermal printer assembly with more features and print capabilities for expanded use in various self-service, informational and transaction kiosk applications.
The FTP-639USL002 comes standard with an integrated 3-inch (76 mm) thermal print mechanism, an auto guillotine cutter, and either a miniature high-speed serial or USB controller board. Fujitsu has implemented a retractor that can handle unlimited receipt lengths.
Designed to accommodate various mounting schemes, the printer measures a compact 136,5 x 165 x 155 mm (W x D x H) and it weighs 1,2 kg. A partial tilt function allows mounting flexibility and the die-cast metal frame provides durability, mounting stability, as well as ESD-protection and heat dissipation or retention.
The printer can output a variety of data, graphics and characters, 2D and 3D bar codes, at speeds of 200 mm/s with 8 line/mm resolution. Its operating life is 100 km form feed, 100 million pulses and 500 000 cuts.
