Guaranteed production reliability in times of change

The industry has been discussing lead-free for so long that one could be forgiven for thinking that there is still plenty of time to prepare for it.
Unfortunately, with the lead-free deadline now only a few months away, one just cannot afford to wait any longer.
This is according to imaging specialist DEK, who notes that since it has invested considerable resources into the creation of an innovative lead-free portfolio, its clients have no need to panic. Backed by the power of DEK Lead-Free, the company says that manufacturers can now quickly reach optimal lead-free performance. As example, the company's celebrated ProFlow enclosed print head technology ideally demonstrates this.
DEK has expended great research effort into the subject of lead-free, and believes it knows exactly what it takes to perform in this environment. It has thus expertly designed the ProFlow to guarantee repeatable aperture filling, low paste wastage and high throughput.
How does it achieve this? As an enclosed print head solution, ProFlow offers significant advantages over conventional squeegee blades. By maximising the process window, ProFlow significantly simplifies paste evaluation and vendor selection, says DEK. Meanwhile, the greater transfer force generated by the enclosed print head technology means that ProFlow eliminates the problems traditionally associated with the changing paste properties of lead-free. This maximises aperture fill and paste release efficiency.
