Micro Metalsmiths, based in the UK and represented locally by OEN Enterprises, manufactures filters, diplexers, multiplexers and associated components. The company's design production capability includes a frequency range from 0,1 to 50 GHz, and qualification to military, space and commercial standards.
Using specially-produced in-house software and its extensive design database, Micro Metalsmiths says that detailed designs can be created and validated before full production. Devices are produced using a variety of in-house precision machining, casting and assembly technologies dependent on the technical and commercial requirements.
Micro Metalsmiths has also developed products for the radiolink/LMDS markets, working in the 15 to 40 GHz range. Using its precision casting process and specially developed software, the company can supply low cost filters and duplexers in large quantities, which it says meets the highest degrees of electrical accuracy and repeatability, and in many instances are superior to machined devices.
