Tantalum SMT capacitors operate up to 175°C

Designed for use in applications with operating temperatures up to 175°C, passives and connector distributor, TTI Europe, is now offering Kemet's new high temperature T499 tantalum chip capacitor series. The product is claimed to have the highest operating temperature of any surface-mount tantalum device currently available.
Expanding on its portfolio of products targeted at harsh environmental applications, Kemet's T499 chip tantalums are suitable for automotive electronics, base stations and oil exploration equipment amongst others.
The T499 capacitors are available in five EIA standard case sizes (A, B, C, D and X) and offer a capacitance range of 0,15 and 220 μF, with voltage ratings between 6 and 50 V. Devices are available in RoHS-compliant versions and in standard Sn/Pb terminations.
