QD Group's power business strengthened with new appointment

QD Power Components formerly The Components Group (TCG), recently appointed Mark Van Der Westhuizen as sales manager to grow business for its flagship suppliers. These suppliers include Eupec Power Semiconductors, heat management products from Bi-Sonic, inductive components from Toko, Evox Capacitors, Cinetech resistive components, amongst others.

"Fast and exciting times lie ahead for QD Group," says Van Der Westhuizen. "The introduction of new shareholders including a black economic empowerment investment, a new management structure and the development of aggressive new strategies to satisfy the growing needs of a large and diverse client base, have invigorated the company."

"Over the years the QD Group and its family of companies, have established a reputation for outstanding quality products and service in the markets for two way radios, alarm security systems and devices, asset protection - particularly for the cash-in-transit market - and imaging and power components," he adds.
