Rittal's Compact Medium Enclosure (CM) combines the case benefits of the AE enclosure with the installation diversity of its award winning TS 8 range. Compatible with the TS 8 mounting components and Rittal system accessories, the CM can be easily transformed into a highly flexible solution to suit most applications.
Installation in the interior is facilitated using pairs of vertical rails on the side walls. Additional horizontal rails in the front of the enclosure at the top and bottom provide mounting space for system lights, door operated switches, door stays and customer-supplied parts, such as contact hazard protection covers. For rapid attachment a mounting plate is inserted at the bottom and secured at the top with clips, leaving both hands free for screw fastening.
The Rittal CM enclosure offers ample space, stability and more opportunities for cable entry, due to the large opening and the wide range of gland plate combinations. These include one, two or three piece options, clamp strip, grommets or foam strips.
