Fluke's next-generation VoltAlert AC voltage tester has a simple operation; the tip is applied to a terminal strip, outlet, or cord, and when it glows red and the unit beeps, it indicates that there is voltage in the line.
The Fluke 1AC-II is recommended for electricians, maintenance, service and safety personnel, as well as homeowners, who can use it to quickly and easily test for energised circuits and defective grounds.
The 1AC-II continually tests its battery and its circuit integrity with a periodic double flash visual indication using Fluke Voltbeat technology. The VoltAlert is a Category IV: 1000 V overvoltage rated product. Voltage detections are: 90 V to 1000 V a.c. or 200 V to 1000 V a.c. depending on model; as well as a 24 V to 1000 V a.c. control circuit model.
