Advantech has launched a family of USB-based DAQ interfaces as a solution for portable data acquisition. Now, engineers or scientists can access high-quality measurements with the Advantech USB-4700 data acquisition series (DAQ) hardware as easily as plugging a USB cable into a computer or notebook, says the local distributor. The USB-based 4700 series is portable and designed to be extremely easy to use. The module also needs no external power or batteries.
Designed as a high accuracy and resolution application tool, the USB-4711 is a 100 KSps, 12-bit multifunction DAQ module with USB interface. The USB-4711 has a flexible configuration offering 16 single-ended/eight differential inputs with 12-bit resolution, up to 100 KSps throughput, 16 digital I/O lines and one user counter/timer and two 12-bit analog outputs.
Software is available for scaling, waveform and storage of data. Full driver and utilities are supplied, including drivers for ActiveDAQ and LabVIEW.
