X2/Y2 capacitors for mains

Wima offers RFI capacitors with polypropylene dielectric in addition to the metallised paper series.

The Wima MKP-X2 and Wima MKP-Y2 series are available with capacitance values from 1000 pF through 2,2 μF and rated voltages of 275 V a.c. and 300 V a.c. respectively in the classes X2 and Y2. They are ENEC/VDE approved according to DIN EN 132 400/IEC 60384-14/2 as well as UL 1414/CSA C 22.2 No. 1 (cULus).

The new ranges feature high capacitance values and small box sizes. With these series Wima offers a wide range of safety-relevant WIMA RFI capacitors including, besides the leaded versions with paper or polypropylene dielectric, also SMD capacitors with metallised paper dielectric.
