Low ESR capacitors for next generation processor families

AVX has increased its range of voltage offerings by developing both higher voltage and lower voltage, maximum capacitance and ultra low ESR capacitors that provide high ripple current rating. Designated the TPM Series, these multi-anode capacitors were designed for next-generation processor families.

The TPM Series capacitors are now available with rated voltages of 50 V, which offer a capacitance of up to 22 μF and an ESR of 75 mΩ max. Low voltage versions down to 2,5 V are also available with a capacitance value of 1500 μF and ESR of 12 mΩ.

These capacitors are available in standard E case size and are RoHS compliant. The characteristics of the TPM Series devices make these capacitors highly-suited for process filtering.
