KVG, a leading manufacturer of quartz crystals and crystal components, has recently entered the South African market through the appointment of Actum Electronics as distributor.
The company's high precision TO-9500 oscillator series is a 7 x 5 mm Stratum 3 surface-mount TCXO device, with the following features:
* 10 to 40 MHz.
* 5 V or 2,8 to 3,3 V supply voltage.
* ±0,28 ppm frequency stability (-20 to +70°C); ±0,50 ppm from -40 to +85°C; ±4,6 ppm overall.
* Up to ±10 ppm frequency control range.
* Phase noise (10 MHz): -145 dBc/Hz @ 1 kHz fc.
* Output signal: clipped sinewave or HCMOS.
KVG also offers commodity crystals, and various options for consumer applications. For example the HC-49/U, UM-1, HC-49/S, HC-49/S-SMD:
* Ceramic SMD packages (5 x 7 mm; 5 x 3,2 mm).
* Fundamental 1,8 to 40 MHz.
* Overtone up to 150 MHz (3rd and 5th OT).
* Frequency tolerances: ±25 ppm, ±50 ppm, ±100 ppm.
* Temperature stability: ±25 ppm, ±50 ppm, ±100 ppm.
* Temp. ranges: -10 to 60°C; -20 to 70°C; -40 to +85°C.
