SAW resonator line-up improved

Passive Components
Murata Manufacturing has strengthened its current line-up of SAW resonators, with the industry's smallest product (3 x 3 mm) being mass-produced for remote keyless entry (RKE) applications. Characterised by a low-profile, low-resistance, narrow tolerance, and high reliability, this product is in response to downsizing and a wide range of applications such as for tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
* SARDA series for low-profile applications: existing models' height has been reduced from less than 1,15 mm to less than 0,85 mm.
* SARCC3**/4**M**AXL series for low-resistance applications: the resonant loss of less than 2,2 dB in the existing model has been reduced to less than 1,5 dB (315 MHz band) with Murata's electrode design technology.
* SARCC3**/4**M**CXD series for narrow-tolerance applications: initial tolerance of ±170 ppm in the existing model is reduced to ±50 ppm (300 MHz and 400 MHz bands) by incorporating new processes.
* SAR3**/4**M**SX series for high-reliability applications: suited for automobile electronics applications (-40 to 125°C).
Since these products have high frequency stability, it is possible to simplify external components in the resonator circuit, contributing to making circuits non-adjusting and low cost. Additionally, in order to make the products usable at various regional frequency bands (300 MHz band for Japan/USA, 400/800 MHz bands for Europe), Murata has produced a lineup covering a wide range of resonating frequencies from the 300 to the 800 MHz band.
