German engineering and a high-grade stainless steel housing and actuator give the MSM switch from Schurter its high quality feel. A range of contact types allows it to switch voltages from 5 V d.c. to 250 V a.c., over currents from 0,1 to 10 A.
With IP67 protection and high impact strength, the MSM is extremely rugged and protected against vandalism. Mounting from the front, the switch fits tight to the panel, with a height of only 1,7 mm. Wiring is via quick-connect terminals on the microswitch, and the two parts are clipped together with ease, allowing rapid installation.
This innovative design allows Schurter to offer highly compact mounting diameters of 16, 19 and 22 mm. Point and ring illuminated versions of the MSM are available for applications where optical status indications are desired, such as dark conditions or disability access systems. Its robust design also makes the MSM ideal for security, public information terminals, ticket machines, or anywhere switching is needed in outdoor or unattended applications.
