3,3 V digital CMOS optocoupler said to be industry's fastest

Avago Technologies' new 3,3 V/5 V CMOS-compatible optocoupler is capable of transmitting data at 25 MBd, which is ideal for high-speed data-line transmission applications such as analog-to-digital conversion, digital I/O ports, computer peripheral interfaces and microprocessor system interfaces.
The ACPL-072L-000E is claimed to be the industry's fastest 3,3 V optocoupler, and has a built-in internal level shifter that allows dual voltage operation of either 3,3 V or 5 V. The ACPL-072L exhibits high common-mode rejection of 10 kV/μs minimum, with 40 ns maximum propagation delay, and 20 ns maximum propagation delay skew over an operating temperature range of -40 to 105°C.
Available in SO-8 package style, it has 6 ns maximum pulse width distortion, accepts voltage input that is compatible with CMOS and TTL logic levels and outputs totem pole logic. This eliminates the need of external input and output pull-up resistors.
