Circuit & System Protection
Wieland Electric has expanded its range of safety switching devices with the SNO 2004K.
This safety switching device provides single-channel monitoring of safety sensors such as emergency stop buttons, protective door switches, etc. It provides two safe NO contacts on the output side. It can furthermore transform safe semiconductor outputs (such as in safety controls or safety light curtains) into safe relay outputs.
The unit has dimensions of 22,5 x 82,5 x 92 mm (W x H x D) and requires only a little space inside the control cabinet. Its low profile makes it also suitable for flat control cabinets. The switching device provides either an automatic or a manual reset input. The maximum output current is 8 A.
The device is an alternative to manually wired contactor combinations. It is applied in mechanical and system engineering in the packaging industry, in plastics moulding, woodworking and construction material processing as well as for robots, transport and construction machines, and combustion and elevator systems.
