New design for round rocker switches

Marquardt's 1881 rocker switch series has an aesthetically-attractive design and proven technology. The round design gives product designers more freedom and flexibility in the creation of their end devices, says the company. The switches' tried-and-tested ball-spring principle ensures high reliability, while very low friction actuating mechanism has a life endurance of at least 100 000 cycles.
The 1881 series is rated to 8 A 250 V a.c., to switch high motor loads. Under UL standard conditions, motor currents of 15 A, 125-250 V a.c. are possible.
The low installation depth saves space and extends the range of applications to design-oriented applications. These rocker switches can be used for small household appliances as well as for lighting technology, office equipment or the leisure industry.
