Frequency control specialist Euroquartz has launched a new low profile version of its 91SMO series industry standard 5 x 7 mm surface-mount clock oscillators.
Available in 5 and 3,3 V versions, the oscillators feature standard 'always on' operation and are supplied with tristate or 'enable/disable' functions implemented. The 91SMOL series clock oscillators have been developed to meet increasing demand for low profile surface mount oscillators and feature a package height of only 1,4 mm. Frequency range extends from 1 to 125 MHz for 3,3 V versions and from 1 to 133 MHz for 5 V types. Frequency stability over temperature characteristics of ±25, ±50 and ±100 ppm are available with maximum symmetry of 45/55% (48/52% typical).
Suited for use in PCMCIA and similar applications, these low profile clock oscillators provide a general purpose, industry standard surface mount part. Specifications include operating temperature ranges for commercial (-10 to 70°C) and industrial (-40 to 85°C) environments, supply voltage of 3,3 or 5 V ±10% and start up time of 5 ms max (1 to 36 MHz), 10 ms max (36 to 70 MHz) and 15 ms max (70 to 125/133 MHz).
Oscillator output for 5 V types is CMOS 50 pF/10TTL for 1 to 70 MHz, CMOS 90pF/6TTL for 70 to 100 MHz and CMOS 15pF/2TTL for 100 to 133 MHz. Output for all 3,3 V types is CMOS 15pF/2TTL.
The 91SMOL series oscillators are sealed in a ceramic seam welded package with gold-plated terminals.
