Technological Rubber offers technology for the surface area of its keytops. The company's 'crystal clear' epoxy finish is an overlay that is applied on the top face of a keypad.
Previously, this was a 'double mould' process and required two female moulds for manufacture. It is now applied in a controlled flow process. It is available in a matt or super clear finish and when applied after the silk-screening process, makes the life of the artwork and keytop 'practically everlasting', according to the company.
Normal applied thickness is 0,5 mm with a hardness of 90-100 Shore A.
