Predictive maintenance pinpoints impending problems

23 August 2006 Test & Measurement

Fluke offers its new Ti40/Ti50 IR FlexCam Series, which it says features the innovative IR-Fusion technology that pinpoints impending problems and helps identify suspect components for more effective predictive maintenance. IR-Fusion technology allows maintenance personnel to see exactly what is being viewed by linking a visible light image to the thermal image.

The Ti40/Ti50 IR FlexCams claims the industry's largest (127 mm) high-resolution images available and an articulated 180° lens for a clear reading in virtually every position. Its thermal sensitivity range (down to 0,05) reveals subtle temperature differences. The AutoCapture feature also allows the capture of images where a temperature limit is exceeded.

Other features include:

* Choice of 160 x 120 or 320 x 240 detector sizes.

* Fully radiometric, with image plus measurement data for performing detailed analysis.

* IP54 rated for industrial use, and measures up to 600°C (1200°C option available).

* Complete solution with SmartView; full reporting and analysis software.

A free demonstration of the Ti40/Ti50 is available for interested persons.
