Geotest has added new features to its GX7000 6U chassis series. Featuring per slot temperature monitoring, system power supply monitoring, and software-controlled PXI trigger mapping, the GX7000A 'Smart' chassis series offers functionality that is unique to Geotest PXI chassis products.
The innovative thermal management and on-board monitoring of both temperature and system power supplies makes this unit a good choice for high density, mission critical, high reliability applications, according to the manufacturer. The 20 slot configuration with 19 peripheral slots provides users with the flexibility to configure high performance and complex functional test systems using only a single PXI chassis.
Available in desktop, rack-mount, and ITA configurations, the GX7000A accommodates up to 19 3U or 6U PXI or cPCI instruments. The GX7000A provides an integral 10 MHz PXI clock and is available with 800 or 1100 W of system power.
