As devices have become more compact and thinner, switches to be mounted have been required to be very much smaller in the mounting area as well as thinner. To meet this market demand, Panasonic has developed a detector switch in ESE16 size.
This switch is used for media-detection or position-detection of various mobile devices including digital still cameras and mobile phones. Mounting area is 7,37 mm² (2,2 x 3,35 mm), and operating force is 200 mN or less.
