Operating over a 90 to 264 V a.c. input range, Power-One’s BLP30-3000G power supply provides 30 W in a 5 x 10 cm footprint.
Outputs are +5 V at 3,5 A (5 A peak), +12 V d.c. at 2 A, and -12 V d.c. at 0,5 A. Typical applications are for space-constrained, 1 U-high systems, including: data networking, medical instrumentation, POS terminals, and external disk storage.
The BLP30-3000G is RoHS-compliant for all six substances, meets EMI Class B, and provides short-circuit and overvoltage protection. Up to 30 W is available with only 10 CFM cooling; 25 W with convection cooling. Extremely low-profile component heights reduce airflow shadowing to increase cooling for downstream devices.
Pricing is $24 each in quantities of 100. Evaluation models are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks. The BLP30 Series also offers three single-output models providing 5, 12, and 24 V.
