High Q 1 GHz wound chip inductors are extremely small

Passive Components
Miniature alumina cores, using a combination of unique materials and horizontal winding methods, are at the heart of Murata's LQW04A series of inductors. Inductance values range from 1,1 nH to 22 nH in 24 steps, with minimum Q of 15 or 20. Low DC resistance in all values ensures low loss, with maximum output in low power applications.
The operating temperature range for the inductors is a full -55 to 125°C, making them suitable for robust applications. A resin coating provides protection during processing and subsequent operation. The miniature package (0,8 x 0,4 mm) with only 0,4 mm profile height allows very high-density mounting.
These inductors feature a high Q (typically 50 at 1,0 GHz) and a high SRF (10 nH = 4,0 GHz min.)
Key applications are for mobile phones and high frequency modules: PA, ANT, VCO, SAW, digital TV tuners and W-LAN/Bluetooth, and high frequency circuits in general.
