Panasonic's chip-type EMI/ESD filters reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) as well as suppresses electrostatic discharge of the signal lines of mobile phones, PCs, AV equipment, etc. The chip-type EMI/ESD filter is an 0805 size, 4-chip filter array that contains EMI filters and varistors built into a single 2 x 1,25 x 0,65 mm (LxWxH) package.
The EZJL217001 has a cut-off frequency of 170 MHz, varistor voltage, 13 V, while the EZJL228001 has a cut-off frequency of 280 MHz, varistor voltage, 18 V. Upper limit for both is 6 GHz. The part can suppress ESD to 8 kV.
