Perimeter Security, Alarms & Intruder Detection
Phoenix Contact's DeviceNet rail assembly is a network tap interface allowing for up to a six metre, single device drop connection from the main DeviceNet trunk line to a field device. This open-style assembly comes complete on a DIN-rail with DeviceNet wire coloured terminal block connections, end clamps and wire signal markers.
Using the DeviceNet rail assembly gives the user the ability to add or remove devices from the network without the interruption of the main trunk cable. This assembly should be used at every node in the system. This up-front modular design practice will ensure that the system has the ability to run all other nodes while one or more nodes are being added or removed.
The DeviceNet Rail Assembly supports the use of thick and thin cable, meets DeviceNet current rating, the wire signal markers reduces installation time and the Spring cage technology provides faster terminations.
