Sonitron's SP28 panel-mounted piezo-ceramic buzzer is a highly robust, specifically made as reverse drive warning for trucks. When activated (by putting vehicle into reverse), a sound output of 90 dB(A) is generated. If the driver repeats this action within 10 s, the sound pressure level is reduced to 78 dB(A). The SP28 uses a 2-wire interface in such a way that if the power if not applied, the time interval function remains operational.
This buzzer has a bent membrane, fixed and glued into the housing, which guarantees the use in difficult environmental conditions, such as varying temperatures, shock, dusty conditions, humid environments, etc.
The operating voltage is 14-32 V d.c, frequency 3500 Hz.
