J & D of Korea, an ISO9001 company, designs and makes a variety of current transformers (CTs).

The JD3V series current transformer is designed specifically for the precision metering and measurement market, especially for electricity meter requirements. This current transformer is a 0,2-class PCB-mounting unit with a current transfer ratio of 1 mA to 100 A at 50/60 Hz. Rated current is 5 A/2 mA. It has a high potential rating of 3,5 kV (1 min) with an insulation resistance of 100 megaohm at 500 V d.c. Package size is 23,6 x 25 x 10,55 mm.

Also offered is a range of zero-phase current transformers with applications in earth leakage (ELCB) ground fault interrupter systems and for extreme low current monitoring and leakage current uses. This range of four basic types covers the 30 A to 120 A range with a current range of 3 mA to 3 A, 5 A and 10 A. Turns ratio is 1000T/1.

J & D additionally has a full range of current transformers from 0,1 class 1 mA to 500 A on selected products. Most comply to IEC62053-21 and are available in leaded or PCB mount.

The company also has the capability to 'customer design' certain product lines.
