South Africa is a country of many exciting business and personal opportunities, but security is becoming of increasing concern. The media is full of warnings to look out for everything, from banking fraud to personal security, and there is no doubt that, even in business, this is becoming an issue.
Ever aware of the changing trends in the marketplace and the changing needs of their exhibitors and visitors alike, the organisers of the KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition will be introducing a 'security' pavilion for the first time in 2007. The aim of this will be to give security providers across the board, the opportunity to showcase their solutions ranging from business security to fire protection and general safety in the work environment.
As Dev Naidoo of Exhibitions for Africa puts it: "We have been at the forefront of showcasing new developments since the exhibition started, and now, with the 13th biennial event approaching, we intend to be proactive and positive in addressing security issues."
The event will again be showcasing the normal wide range of industries, from the mechanical and materials handling to the electrical and electronic. Previous exhibitors will also be making use of this opportunity to introduce new and innovative products into the market place.
The event will take place from 5-8 June 2007 at the Durban Exhibition Centre.
