The Yokogawa PBD2000 2 GHz differential probe is a high-bandwidth device designed for measurements in LVDS (low-voltage differential signalling) applications. When used with the company's DL9240 digital oscilloscope, the new probe offers a system bandwidth of 1,5 GHz.
The probe's small head makes it easy to probe fine-pitch circuits, and the PBD2000 also offers a high common-mode rejection ratio of -12 dB or less from 100 MHz to 1 GHz, which ensures high-fidelity signal observation.
Other key parameters include attenuation ratio of 10:1, input resistance of 50 kΩ, input capacitance of 1,1 pF, maximum operating voltage of ±7 V, maximum differential input voltage of ±5 V, residual noise of ±500 μV r.m.s. and residual offset voltage of ±10 mV.
A browser attachment kit containing a variety of pins, micro clips and leads is also available.
