Holland Shielding Systems offers conductive tapes of its 3200 series. These are metal tapes with conductive self-adhesive that can be cut in all widths from 3 mm wide. Standard lengths are in 16,5 m rolls, while 25 mm width is the most common size used. Applications are for: electrical connection between surfaces (sheets/foils), die-cuts, mounting transparent foils, shielding in housings, shielding cables, temporary shielding during tests.
There are three types of metal tape with conductive adhesive: 3201 - copper tape with conductive adhesive; 3202 - tinned copper tape; 3203 - aluminium tape to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Tape 3204 is a contact surface metal tape with a highly conductive self-adhesive on one side and a masking tape on the other side. This tape is used to improve the corrosion resistance of construction metals (like untreated steel plates), or to improve the galvanic compatibility when two metal parts are connected with a gasket.
Tape 3205 is a double-sided self-adhesive transfer tape for mounting purposes. This system can be applied much faster than a conductive glue and can be applied very accurately. No time is required for curing (pressure sensitive version). For lower resistance and or to fill gaps with a rough surface the electrical conductive adhesive should be used.
Tape 3206 is a die-cut mounting tape that is a soft metal foil, laminated on two sides with a conductive self-adhesive. It is only available in sheets.
