News
Datac Control International has announced the 25th anniversary of its incorporation. Founded by current CEO, Cyril Kerr, in Dublin, Ireland in 1981, Datac (www.dataconline.com) has grown to become a global player in the manufacture and supply of automation and control systems, telemetry and wireless machine-to-machine communications.
Having invested heavily in an in-depth R&D programme, Datac has in recent years entered the machine-to-machine communications market. This technology allows remote control and monitoring of corporate assets. With increasing customer and partner numbers, Datac is fast establishing itself in this multibillion dollar industry.
"It is a fantastic achievement to reach the 25 year mark", says Kerr. "A lot of hard work by a lot of people has gone into building a business based on reliability, innovation and quality".
"Over 25 years Datac has become the supplier of choice to a number of prestigious customers in various industries, for both its software and hardware products," he adds.
With a global office and representative network, the company has developed a large, loyal customer base in over 45 countries. Customers include many governmental agencies and world leaders in the utilities markets; amongst them, Shell, BP, Chevron and Exxon Mobil.
Datac is Dublin-based, and has offices in Limerick, Russia, Hong Kong and Texas. It trades primarily in the oil and gas, water, electricity, communications and transport industries; however, customisation of its products is possible for almost any form of remote monitoring.
