Phoenix Contact’s new PCB terminals and plugs with spring cage double connection, the PTDA, have two connectors for each electrical potential.
This simplifies the looping-through of wires. The terminal points are arranged at an angle of 45° relative to the circuit board.
The round and symmetrical PCB terminals are available with 3,5 and 5,0 mm pitch as well as in pluggable or hard-solderable versions. The wafer structure and matching contours make it possible to combine individual blocks with mixed pitches and still use colour-coding. This makes it easy to connect equipment without making any errors.
With a connection capacity of 2 x 2,5 mm2 or 2 x 1,5 mm² and being both rigid yet flexible, this PCB terminal is particularly suitable for building installations with the typical cable cross-sections and it provides excellent clamping capacity with direct plug technology. The handy release button allows all of the wires to be released quickly and easily.
The symmetrical design allows the circuit boards to be installed horizontally or vertically in enclosures and the terminals will always maintain the same external appearance.
