Advantech's PCI-1714 is a high-speed analog input card that is designed for streaming continuous data from analog samples to host memory. Dedicated A/D converters are used for each of the four input channels and a selection of trigger modes ensure accurate sampling. The ultra-high 30 MSa/s sampling rate can be run on all four channels simultaneously, making it highly suitable for dynamic and transient signal measurements such as LVDS applications.
Three kinds of trigger modes are available for A/D conversion, namely software triggering, internal pacer triggering, and external pacer triggering. The software trigger makes it possible to acquire a sample whenever it is needed, the internal pacer triggers continuous high-speed data acquisition, and the external pacer triggers synchronous sampling with external devices.
The PCI-1714 comes with software for convenient auto calibration, so no variable resistor trimming is necessary. This utility, like the drivers, is available for Windows XP/2000/98.
