Technological Rubber has introduced two coating processes to prolong the silk-screening on its keypads. Although its standard method of heat treatment using specially-developed inks already gives long life to the screen (keypads are tested to 1 million operations), in certain high traffic applications there is a need to improve on this high specification.
Technological Rubber thus developed Coating 2306 - its standard coating - which it says should extend the life at least by twice, while Coating QS-1-PU is a second specially-developed polyurethane-based process that will increase the life by three to four times. High usage keys can be individually-treated for longer life.
