The Meder CR Series reed relay has a ceramic substrate design with gold-plated leads. It takes the leads from internal connections to external board connections, eliminating lead-frame skewing and co-planarity issues.

Available with or without ball grid arrays, (BGA), the low-profile, CRF, RF relay and the CRR, DC-switching relay, measure only 8,6 x 4,4 x 3,4 mm, have one Form-A contact, and can switch up to 10 W with individual maximums of 0,5 A and 210 V. Typical insulation resistance to all points is >1014 Ω, with coil-to-switch isolation of 1500 V d.c. minimum.

The 50 Ω CRF-Series is capable of switching signal frequencies up to 7 GHz with less than 1 dB insertion loss, as well as fast digital pulses with rise times of 40 ps or greater.
